Privacy policy

The Melbourne Computer Club is a trading name of Melbourne PC User Group Inc.

This website is intended only for visitors in Australia, and does not offer services or products to anyone outside Australia.

This website contains forms. Through those forms we may collect your name, your email address, your phone number, your gender and your age. Any such information collected will only be used by us to provide you with information about our activities, and will never be provided to any other organisation.

We may from time to time send you emails about our activities and inviting you to join our organisation. Such emails will always contain a clickable link to allow you to opt out of any future such emails. If you join Melbourne PC User Group you will receive a very small number of essential members-only email meeting and membership renewal notices, which you cannot opt out of.

This website uses cookies to identify you as a visitor and to serve you "remarketing" adverts on other websites under the AdChoices system. This means that, if you don't use an ad blocker, you will tend to receive ads that are relevant to your interests. The AdChoices system allows you to control the ads you receive by clicking the tiny icon on the top right-hand corner of every ad. You may also receive our retargeting ads on Facebook, if you are a Facebook member.

We may also use cookies for "analytics", i.e. counting first-time and returning visitors, length of visit, pages visited and similar statistics. All such information is totally anonymous. We may know approximately where you are but not who your are.
